Yes, up to 10 videos. Basically, we wanted to make it easy for people to make their own mashups online. As usual, you can add videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc, or upload from your computer.
You can also add footage from another coub by grabbing the url.
If you want to join two or more separate parts from the same video, use the "duplicate this video" function. It's among the options when you chooe to add extra video sources. This is really useful for removing parts of the video you don't like. Make your first clip end where the unwanted part begins. Then make your duplicated part begin where the unwanted part ends. And it's gone.

Before you can post a coub, you'll have to give it a name, and you'll be prompted to add tags. Pay attention to the tags.
If tags are clear and descriptive, your coubs will pop up in suggests and be more visible to the rest of our users. You can edit both of these attributes later by clicking the gear icon and choosing “Edit info”.
Yes, yes it is. Tags are a really important discovery tool. If your coub is tagged it’ll be found more easily. It also helps users with similar interests to find each other.
Click the gear icon and select “Edit info”. Now you can tweak the name, tags and privacy settings of your coub. You can also change which of your channels it appears in.
Click the gear icon below the coub and choose “Edit info”. You can make your coub “Public” – anyone can see it — or restrict access to your followers, or keep it to yourself by choosing “Private”.
If you really want to delete your coub, just click the gear icon and then the "delete coub" button. You won’t be able to retrieve the coub after it’s deleted, so make sure your decision is final.
Coub is a discovery portal. Under each coub there's a link back to the original video, except if the user has uploaded the video from their computer or phone.
You can use the source video from an existing coub to create a new coub. You can find the button to access the source video on most coubs’ individual pages.
If you make a coub from a YouTube or Vimeo link, other users will be able to create new coubs using the same snippet. If it's your own footage, you can choose whether you want to let others reuse it or not.
The editor automatically removes black borders from uploaded videos. When you upload your video you'll see a message to the bottom left of the preview window, saying “Black stripes were removed from this video”. Click it and you'll have the option to keep the black stripes.
